Fast-Acting Acne Remedies

Posted & filed under Uncategorized.

Everyone suffering from acne surely knows about the many over-the-counter medications and the professional treatments out there. But did you know that some of the best treatments are actually from all-natural, holistic ingredients? That’s right. Without chemicals and lasers and prescription pills, you can still get rid of acne if you are willing to treat your skin well and to treat it often.

Even with so many treatment options out there, however, some individuals still do not want to wait around for the medicine to actually work. They want quick results – they want their pimples to go away in a hurry.

You cannot blame someone for wanting to get rid of unsightly blemishes as soon as possible. Not only can acne really seclude you socially, but some acne can be painful and lead to permanent scarring.

In this article, we will talk about a few fast-acting, all-natural acne remedies that should produce noticeable results in a few hours and should leave you with diminished blemishes in a day or two.

Quick, Natural Acne Treatments

Lemon

Lemon provides a few great benefits for your skin. First and foremost, the citric acid inside of the lemon, which is in stronger concentrations than in other citrus fruits, can help to immediately attack the oil and inflammation that’s keeping that blemish large and noticeable. Apply a piece of sliced lemon to your blemishes, rub it around some, and let the juice set up on your face for roughly an hour before rinsing off.

Lemon is also a great antiseptic, so it helps to heal the skin and to prevent future blemishes. And it will also help to shrink pores on your face and to prevent wrinkles.

Carrot Juice

You can go purchase carrot juice at virtually any supermarket out there. It’s relatively affordable and it tastes pretty good. But you just cannot be sure if it’s all-natural. So instead of purchasing the juice, buy real carrots and juice them yourself (unless you know of a reputable brand providing all-natural, organic juice).

You won’t rub this on your face; you will drink the juice instead. The beta carotene and vitamin A within the carrots is a great substance for your body in general and will really help to keep your skin healthy and vibrant.

Tomato

Tomatoes work in relatively the same way lemons do. Only with tomatoes, you do not run a big risk of over-drying your skin. When you’re using lemons as a blemish treatment, you may have to use moisturizer to keep your skin at its peak. With tomatoes, however, the acid within the flesh of the berry is very mild. And tomatoes also work as a great antibacterial cleanser.

Like with the lemon, slice the tomato, rub it on affected areas, and wait roughly an hour before washing the juice off.

These are only three remedies amongst dozens of all-natural, fast-acting acne treatments. These three should do the trick, but don’t forget to check back for other treatment options.
